I haven't forgotten!
I haven't forgotten about you blog readers (if there are any) Haha. I just haven't had time to sit down and finish a post. I have some really cute ones in the works, including a baby update, and spirit week at Lily's daycare. Keep checking back for updates :) Have a great day!

Exciting Weekend Ahead
We have an exciting weekend ahead in the Koufopoulos household. This is Chris's last weekend of soccer! Lily, baby, and I are very excited to get to spend more time with Chris because he won't be working late and on the weekends. He has one more baseball tournament next weekend, but there's an end in sight!
Lily, baby, and I are also going to a baby shower on Saturday for a friend who's having her first (a little boy too) next month! I'm excited to do something different and meet some new people. Here's hoping that Lily naps early so she's in a good mood for the party.
I always look forward to Sundays. Sundays are usually our only day that we get to spend all day together as a family. We've started in the past couple of months cooking a big breakfast on Sundays and just hanging out in our pjs until we have to get dressed so we can make our weekly grocery store trip. It's such a fun day to spend together. I hope that we continue to do this for a long time.
I have to go ahead and think forward to the weekend to make it through the day today. It has been a long week in my classroom. My kids are off the wall, and I'm exhausted. Hearing all of the rain that's going on this morning is making me think that today may prove to be a long one, but I have this wonderful weekend to look forward to!

Morning Playtime
Lily loves to play with all of her toys. She really enjoys this ladybug from YiaYia. It makes all kinds of noises, and she can push it across the floor. She's so funny to watch, and is getting smarter every day.

Dance Party with Daddy
Daddy got to come home early from work on Saturday because of the cold weather and rain so he and Lily had a dance party. Check it out!

Working hard
She loves to play with her highchair. We started putting it on the carpet in front of the couch when we eat so we can all eat together. She loves this because it means she gets some playtime to work on her chair.

How do you feel?
I never know how to answer that question when people ask. I never know if they want an honest answer or just the "oh everything's great" answer. Most of the time I just go with the short "everything's great" answer because I figure most people don't really care all that much. The truth is, this pregnancy has been a lot harder then my pregnancy with Lily. I thought nothing could be worse then Lily's because I was so sick, but this one has proved me wrong. I am so sore constantly, and always having back pain. I can't sleep through the night because I have to get up and go to the bathroom, or I move the wrong way and pain wakes me up. I know I sound like I'm being a whiney baby, but I wouldn't trade this for anything in the world. I love being pregnant, and it's been a blessing to not be sick. I'm just ready to meet this sweet little boy (whenever he's finished cooking of course), and have him on the outside so his daddy can help with him too :) Hopefully now that work has slowed down some for Chris he'll be home more, and I can rest more. Until then I'll muster up all of my mommy strength and power through because that's what mommy's do :)
Future Dancer?
Here's another video of our sweet girl. She loves music and loves to dance. At school she's learned the pony dance, which is what you're seeing in the video. It's a little shakey because Chris is dancing and recording.

Too Cute!
The above video was taken on Chris's cell phone at my school's fall festival. Lily was too cute at the festival, and wanted to get into everything. We took her to it last year, but she was just a little squirt then :) This year she got her face painted, got to finger paint with shaving cream, picked a duck and won a prize, and even enjoyed a hot dog!

New Vehicle
We are proud new owners of a 2004 Toyota Highlander! Chris has been looking for a new car since we found out I was pregnant again because his car would only fit one car seat rear facing. He has been working so hard, and finally found the Highlander and decided it was the car for us. He drove out to Farmville today to look at it and decided it was awesome, so he bought it! It is super cool and we're all really excited about it.

New Favorite Spot
Here's one of Lily's new favorite spots. The stool came from Grandma and it is way too cute. It is in between one of her dressers and her crib. She likes it because she can use the dresser for balance too. She disappears when we're playing and I usually find her here or playing on our closet floor if it's open :)

26 Weeks :)
How far along? 26 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: not sure..
Maternity clothes? yes! I can still wear my normal jeans, but all other pants have to be maternity
Stretch marks? just ones left over from last time
Sleep: I wish I had time for more. It's getting harder and harder to get comfy at night, and I cannot sleep through the night to save my life.
Movement: LOTS, especially in the evenings when I can sit down and relax :) I love it.
Gender: It's a boy!
Labor Signs: none thank goodness!
Milestones: He's been moving a lot so Chris can feel him and that's been awesome! Lily likes to sit on my belly in the evenings when we're playing on the floor and he gets irritated at her. She doesn't realize what's going on usually. I can't wait for her to feel him too!

Birthday Post
I can't believe that I never posted about Lily's birthday! We had a blast. She ended up having THREE different celebrations. The first one was early in August because Yia Yia had come to town so we celebrated with her and our Wilson friends. Then Lily, Chris and I celebrated on her birthday with some yummy chocolate cake. Lastly, we celebrated again with the Lexington crew on Labor Day weekend. All three were very special and very fun. Lily really enjoyed all of the cake too! I already shared pictures from the first party, but here are some from the second with just the three of us.
So sorry...
Things have gotten crazy busy around here and I haven't had the energy to update lately. We are all doing very well. Since the last post we found out that Lily is going to have a little brother :) We are all over the moon for this, and cannot wait to meet him. Lily has been growing up fast and is into everything. She loves to walk, "talk" in her own language, and play with Mommy and Daddy. It's hard to believe she's 13 months old. It feels like we just found out I was pregnant with her. Chris has been crazy busy with work, so we have been cherishing the time that we have together. I'm looking forward to all of the events coming up in the next several months. I love Thanksgiving! It's probably my favorite holiday. I love to be with family and eat great food. Here are some pictures from the past few months. There are a lot more on Facebook though. When Chris gets home we'll try to upload some videos.

This is what happens when...
an 11 month old takes over. She was on a path of destruction on this day. She's totally worth the mess thought :)

High Five
Chris was really excited when Lily learned to do this. She loves it, and get's really excited when she gives you a high five!

She's getting so big...
Yesterday we took Lily shoe shopping. She has never worn shoes before (she can't walk, so what's the point right), but starting tomorrow she's going to go out to play with the toddler class meaning she needs shoes. This was kind of the "holy moley" moment of how much she's grown. We can't believe that in ten days our little bitty girl will be ONE. She is doing really well with her shoes, and leaving them on her feet. Here are her new kicks :)

What have we been up to?
The dress was made by YiaYia. She has another that is green and blue.
Did I tell you that she's standing alone and working on walking? We have a cute video of her using her push toy that I'll show you later, but here's a cute picture of her standing with Daddy drinking out of her sippy cup (she's down to only two bottles a day, yay!).
She looks like such a big girl in this dress!
We've done some major cleaning out the past few weeks so our apartment no longer looks like a storage building which has been nice. We also had a little pre-birthday party for our almost one year old!
Everyone was riveted by the tennis game on TV
Lily needed lots of help opening all of her fun gifts.
These were glow in the dark sports balls (basketball, soccer, and football).
She loves this toy! It can grow with her. Right now it's a push toy, but it also turns into something that she can ride and then into a scooter. It plays music so she dances and pushes it around.
Lovely face Mommy!
YiaYia made her a fleece Winnie the Pooh pillow and blanket.
17 weeks, 4 days
Just for fun :) I love you baby!

15 Weeks
I am so very excited about this pregnancy. I wanted to take a few minutes to do a survey like I did with Lily. Here's some info for you!
How far along? 15 weeks 3 days
Total weight gain/loss: none either way
Maternity clothes? not really. i wear them sometimes because i never lost all of my baby weight from lily so my non-maternity summer clothes don't fit well
Stretch marks? just ones left over from last time
Sleep: i do it all of the time. i don't know what i'm going to do when i have to go back to work and won't get my two naps a day in
Movement: depending on the day it can be lots to little. right now our little peanut is moving and rolling around in there
Gender: no idea. this pregnancy has been very different then last time though so we'll see
Labor Signs: none thank goodness!
Milestones: lots more movement in the past few weeks. it was big enough last night that Chris got to feel some movement
I'll get Chris to take a picture this evening and post it tomorrow of my belly.
