Yesterday we took Lily shoe shopping. She has never worn shoes before (she can't walk, so what's the point right), but starting tomorrow she's going to go out to play with the toddler class meaning she needs shoes. This was kind of the "holy moley" moment of how much she's grown. We can't believe that in ten days our little bitty girl will be ONE. She is doing really well with her shoes, and leaving them on her feet. Here are her new kicks :)

What have we been up to?

The dress was made by YiaYia. She has another that is green and blue.

Oh nothing...just laying around :) Lily loves to play on this pillow in the middle of the floor. She is usually laying all over it like this, or sitting on top of it playing with her toys.

Did I tell you that she's standing alone and working on walking? We have a cute video of her using her push toy that I'll show you later, but here's a cute picture of her standing with Daddy drinking out of her sippy cup (she's down to only two bottles a day, yay!).

She looks like such a big girl in this dress!

We've done some major cleaning out the past few weeks so our apartment no longer looks like a storage building which has been nice. We also had a little pre-birthday party for our almost one year old!

Everyone was riveted by the tennis game on TV

Lily needed lots of help opening all of her fun gifts.

These were glow in the dark sports balls (basketball, soccer, and football).

She loves this toy! It can grow with her. Right now it's a push toy, but it also turns into something that she can ride and then into a scooter. It plays music so she dances and pushes it around.

17 weeks, 4 days

I am currently preparing for the upcoming school year, and Chris is preparing for his upcoming soccer and baseball season. Life around here is about to get crazy, but we're having a lot of fun. Can you believe that Lily will be one at the end of this month?

15 Weeks

I am so very excited about this pregnancy. I wanted to take a few minutes to do a survey like I did with Lily. Here's some info for you!

How far along? 15 weeks 3 days

Total weight gain/loss: none either way

Maternity clothes? not really. i wear them sometimes because i never lost all of my baby weight from lily so my non-maternity summer clothes don't fit well

Stretch marks? just ones left over from last time

Sleep: i do it all of the time. i don't know what i'm going to do when i have to go back to work and won't get my two naps a day in

Movement: depending on the day it can be lots to little. right now our little peanut is moving and rolling around in there

Gender: no idea. this pregnancy has been very different then last time though so we'll see

Labor Signs: none thank goodness!

Milestones: lots more movement in the past few weeks. it was big enough last night that Chris got to feel some movement

I'll get Chris to take a picture this evening and post it tomorrow of my belly.
